In return, I should say that for as long as I've been reading blogs, I've regarded Currency Lad as one of the best online essayists of the Anglophone blogosphere. I remain mystified by his ability to pull a deeply erudite, cogent essay on history or politics seemingly from behind his ear, the way other people might produce a rollyourown. In the meantime, I'm making enquiries about how to get a screenshot bronzed.
